Friends talked me into this crazy event. Salvation Army asks the public to take stuff, and “transform” those items into art, or a new use. It is hard to walk through the Salvation Army stores, looking at all the different stuff, and deciding on what “stuff” to buy. I had two sleepless night, creating the item in my head. Then sixteen hours of work to make the crown. It was fun.
Now I want this crown, yet I don’‘t need to spend more money. I am on a crown-making journey.
Made from: one Ralph Lauren dress, wire sphere, eye glasses, shrimp napkin rings.
Second entry. A Batiked silk shirt. Made with my latest favorite potatoe masher, aqua pastel. Men’‘s medium.
